Home of the Year returns to our screens for its eighth series with a brand new judge and some impressive interior design.
Looking for individuality, functionality and clever design, judges Hugh Wallace, Amanda Bone, and Sara Cosgrove will each score the homes out of 10 and the home with the highest combined score in each programme will go through to the final in April, where the winner will be crowned.
Over the last number of weeks, a total of 21 homes across Ireland competed for the prestigious title of 'Home of the Year' in 2022.
Who will be the selected as the seventh finalist? In the penultimate episode the three judges Hugh, Amanda and Sara visit a modern panoramic house in Dublin, an old shop conversion in Kilkenny and a city home with protected facade in Cork.
Shirley Coleman and Alan Coleman, Dublin
Shirley Coleman and Alan Coleman have created a modern panoramic house in North Co. Dublin.
Shirley loves the contemporary and spacious interior of her family home and how the house echoes the modernist style, that of linking the indoor and the outdoor living spaces, she loves how it sits in the landscape with a view to the sea, enjoying panoramic views of both the sunrise and the evening setting sun.
Home of the Year airs every Tuesday on RTÉ One at 8:30pm.
