Home of the Year has returned to our screens for its eighth series with a brand new judge and some impressive interior design.
Looking for individuality, functionality and clever design, judges Hugh Wallace, Amanda Bone, and Sara Cosgrove will each score the homes out of 10 and the home with the highest combined score in each programme will go through to the final in April, where the winner will be crowned.
Over the coming weeks, a total of 21 homes across Ireland will compete for the prestigious title of 'Home of the Year' in 2022.
Gail Hawthorne and Graham Watson's home in Dublin
Gail and her husband Graham live in a 1920's end of terrace home in Dublin with their children.
When they bought the home, it required a full renovation and new heating, plumbing and electrics. They added a unique triangular extension to the side of the property, designed by their architect, which houses the open plan kitchen and dining area and has large sliding doors and discreet skylights that flood the area with natural light.
Graham and Gail have taken an eclectic approach to their interiors and have furnished the property with vintage finds. Take a peek inside their home through the gallery at the top of the page.
Home of the Year airs every Tuesday on RTÉ One at 8:30pm.
