Home of the Year has returned to our screens for its eighth series with a brand new judge and some impressive interior design.
Looking for individuality, functionality and clever design, judges Hugh Wallace, Amanda Bone, and Sara Cosgrove will each score the homes out of 10 and the home with the highest combined score in each programme will go through to the final in April, where the winner will be crowned.
Over the coming weeks, a total of 21 homes across Ireland will compete for the prestigious title of 'Home of the Year' in 2022.
Michael Merrins and Jean Ann Taylor's Dublin home
Michael Merrins and Jean Ann Taylor live in a modern new build in Dublin.
The couple found a site and worked with their architect to create a timber clad, passive, south-facing contemporary home with large windows that flood the home in natural day-light and give them views of the surrounding greenery.
One of their favourite things about their home is the open plan living area. The ground floor creates a great space for dining and entertaining, while also offering the couple beautiful views. Click through the gallery above to take a peek inside their beautiful home.
Home of the Year airs every Tuesday on RTÉ One at 8:30pm.
