Sean O Mahony
Location: Athy, Co Kildare

Sean O Mahony is a community Guard in his hometown of Athy, Co Kildare. He lives with his partner Maria and their son Lowry (13).

Originally from Limerick, Sean has been a guard for 22 years. Working as guard during covid was difficult for Sean as his job description changed overnight from getting shopping for older people to collecting prescriptions on a daily basis. As a man in his 40s he is finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with his teenage son, he finds himself more tired if they are hurling or running together.

Odile Agnini
Age: 37
Location: Greystones, Co Wicklow

Odilie is a personal assistant living in Greystones, Co Wicklow with her husband Paul and there one-year-old daughter, Evie.

Odile was born in Ivory Coast, and lived in France up to the age of 18, she moved to Ireland 20 years ago. Since having her daughter she has struggled with the confidence to get her body back to what she feels happy with, it's not about the numbers it’s about how she feels in clothes on a day to day basis.

Norma Taylor
Age: 46
Location: Kanturk, Co Cork

Norma Taylor is from Kanturk, Co Cork. She is a single woman living on the family farm with her mother, Lilly. Covid has had a huge impact on Norma, working in the bar trade she hasn’t worked since 15th March, 2020. In the last year she has been put on blood pressure tablets but is hoping she will be able to come off them. She wants to get her health back on track so she can get her live back on track and get her mojo back.

Katie Keenan
Location: Garristown, Co Meath

Katie Keenan is 28-year-old woman from Garristown Co Meath, she is single and lives with her parents. She works in childcare something she has been doing for 10 years.

Katie is very self-conscious when it comes to her appearance, she feels that people are always looking at her and judging her. She wants to take hold of this and has decided now is her time and she doesn’t want to hide anymore.

Dale Collins
Location: Thomastown, Co Tipperary

Dale Collins is 26 years old from Thomastown Co Tipperary. He is single and lives at home with his mother, step-father and brother.

Dale has felt uncomfortable about how he looks since he was about 20, which led to him stopping playing rugby, something he would love to get back to. He feels he could be an example to his generation that if he can do it anyone can.

Una Coates
Location: Clondalkin, Dublin

Una Coates is 38 year old from Clondalkin who lives with her, Dad Seamus. Una is a member of Inclusion Ireland and would like to be an example for other Special Olympics Ireland athletes. She is very determined and when she puts her mind to things she reaches her goal.
