From 16 fearless families to just four finalists, this year's Ireland's Fittest Families has been the most hair-raising yet, and after weeks of gruelling tasks and mental challenges, it's time for the final four to face off.
This year's show comes to its most epic finish yet, as the families take on THE MOUNTAIN in Kilruddery in the hopes of winning €15,000.
The Kinsellas from Co. Wexford, The Cuddys from Co. Roscommon, both coached by Anna Geary, The Greenans from Co. Tipperary, coached by Derval O'Rourke, and The McIntyres from Co. Tipperary, coached by Donncha O'Callaghan, are this year's finalists, and they have one hell of a fight ahead.
They've withstood the battering of the FOREST, the twists of the SWAMP and the hardship of the LAKE. In tonight's episode, the final four families take on the most challenging obstacle course yet: the MOUNTAIN.

And not only do they have to take on familiar tests like Mountain Madness, but they'll be faced with the brand new event SLINGSHOT for points, before the bottom two face an eliminator and the loser exits the competition.
Hosted by Mairead Ronan and guided by the four ferocious coaches – Davy Fitzgerald, Anna Geary, Donncha O'Callaghan and Derval O’ Rourke – the three families have survived every challenge thrown their way, and some of them were tough enough to have us wavering.
From Sole Survivor and Hang Tough, to Back Against The Wall and the Pontoons of Pain, the families have been put through their paces and shown incredible displays of strength and support for each other.
Filmed in the IFF hub at Hell & Back in Kilruddery, Co Wicklow, at the foothills of the Wicklow mountains, it's been a fierce course filled with muddy swamps, lakes and forests, this is the perfect location to put our families through their paces.
It'll be a hair-raising final, full of tension, strength, disappointment and ultimately inspirational shows of endurance. We can't wait to see how it all goes down.
