We've been here before and know this time around that the wait for our beloved hair and beauty salons to re-open may take a little longer than originally expected. Either way, we know that we are in this for the long haul so thankfully Irish beauty businesses have had to pivot once more and bring their products and services to us. Many Irish businesses have had to adapt their business model by creating beauty survival kits, selling at home beauty boxes or offering online zoom facials with pre-sent products and virtual directions.

Here are five Irish business offering an array of beauty boxes, services or at home spa treatments all designed to help fill the void for now.

The session is modelled to replicate the salon experience asking for clients to wear comfy pyjamas, have candles lighting with camera off or on, your choice, and be guided through the skin treatments by the owner, Berni.

A pre-treatment pack is sent in advance at the time of booking which includes the relevant product sales, instructions, sponges and a headband. Her fellow professional skin therapists and reiki maestro, Julie from Bejuled takes guests on a guided mediation while masks are on to enhance the overall general sense of wellbeing and typical salon experience you would expect on site. They have had over 500 virtual clients to date and are currently offering a Mother's Day class.
