Aside from bobbing for apples and telling ghost stories, dressing up is probably the best part of celebrating Halloween. Whether you stick with a simple ghostly sheet or an elaborate movie monster, getting into costume is great fun for kids and grown-ups alike.
If you are in need of a last minute costume, fear not, we've got you covered. Watch the video above and transform yourself into a witch's black cat.
Find out how you can bring out your feline features this Halloween by watching the video above.
1. Using a contour powder and brush, lightly contour the face and nose.
Top Tip: Contour the nose slightly further out than usual in order to widen it's appearance, extending the powder up towards the brow bone.
2. Using black face paint or black eyeliner, paint an upside down triangle on the nose with a black line running directly through the cupid's bow from the nose down to the lips.
3. Paint the upper lip black, extending the outer corner of the lips out - slightly curving up. Next, use your liquid eyeliner to draw on a few black dots.
4. With a smaller eyeshadow brush, use the same contour powder to intensify the contour previously applied and round the upper lip on either side, beginning from the corners of your mouth to the sides of your nose.
5. For the eyes, use brown eyeshadow across the lid. Next, use a darker eyeshadow in the crease, progressively getting darker, before using a small amount of black eyeshadow in the outer corner of the eye.
6. Using black liquid eyeliner, create a cat eye with two small triangles in the inner corner of the eye, elongating it. Then, line the waterline with eyeliner and apply mascara to your eyelashes.
7. Fill in eyebrows with a brow pencil, focusing on creating a high arch
8. Finally, apply lipstick to the bottom lip and draw on some whiskers using your liquid eyeliner.
Top tip: For an extra bit of glam, pat some gold shadow over the lid and use a gold eyeliner to highlight the look by outlining the cat nose, lips and eyes.
