Traditionally, June has been a time for the LGBTQ+ community to celebrate Pride through rainbow-hued parties and parades across the globe. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, many of those annual celebrations have been cancelled - but don't put those flags away just yet.

The Digital Dublin Pride Festival is set to run for a full 10 days, starting on June 18, with everything from online quizzes and pet parades to soapbox sessions and mental health workshops.

RTÉ is celebrating its partnership with the Dublin Digital Pride and this year's #virtualprideparade on Sunday 28th June, by hosting a special Pride weekend, on-air and online, including two days of music, interviews and entertainment across RTÉ 2FM and two special RTÉ Concert Orchestra performances, and much more.

Saturday 27th June will also feature a special collaboration between 2FM and Mother, the popular LGBTQ+ club night, who will play an exclusive two-hour Pride weekend DJ set.

Here's what you can look forward on RTÉ 2FM:

On Saturday:

5pm- 7pm: Conor Behan plays essential Pride anthems

7pm – 9pm: Jenny Green presents Electric Disco Pride Special

9pm -11pm: Mother Pride Weekend DJ set, only on 2FM

On Sunday:

9am -11am Louise McSharry's Pride Breakfast Special

3pm – 5pm Stephen Byrne presents a Pride-themed show

5pm – 7pm Conor Behan plays more essential Pride anthems.

The RTÉ Concert Orchestra is celebrating Pride with special performances with drag queens who will perform Pride anthems. Details coming soon...
