Therapy dog comforts doctors in Mexico
A one-eyed therapy dog has come to the rescue of doctors fighting the coronavirus in Mexico. The three-year-old pug named Harley 'El Tuerto' has been helping frontline workers deal with the stress and anxiety of battling the virus. Cardiff phone boxes become lockdown libraries
Communities in Cardiff, Wales are helping each other to beat the boredom of lockdown by using phone boxes to share books. Sing from your sofa
Singers from all over the world are being given the chance to come together in song, despite the coronavirus restrictions. The Sofa Singers is a free, weekly online event that brings hundreds of people together for a 45-minute singing session. Socially distanced disco cheers care home residents
Residents of a care home in Norfolk, England had their spirits lifted with a drive-through disco that reunited them with family and friends. The residents danced and waved from a safe distance while their loved ones drove through the car park of the residence. Darkness turns to dawn for Pieta House
Thousands of people around the country took part in Saturday's Sunrise Appeal in aid of mental health charity Pieta. Though the Darkness into Light walk was cancelled due to Covid-19, people all over Ireland showed their support by sharing photos of the sunrise and messages of support online, raising vital funds for this life-saving charity.
