These are the days to plan around!
These are the days to plan around!

If you're anything like us, you're already thinking about your summer holidays, weekends away and city breaks. Stealing a day here and there for yourself during the year is always a priority, so thank goodness there are a few staple holidays to bank on.

There are no less than nine Bank Holidays this year, one of them being New Year's Day. We can also book in a duvet day or getaway around St. Patrick's Day, Christmas Day and Stephen's Day.

If you like to kick up your heels on St. Patrick's Day, bear in mind that it's a Tuesday this year so make your plans accordingly!

And with Halloween falling on a Saturday this year, the October Bank Holiday on Monday 26 October will make that week delightfully short.

Here's all the Bank Holidays for 2020:

New Year's Day - Wednesday, 1 January

St Patrick's Day - Tuesday, 17 March

Easter Monday - Monday, 13 April

May public holiday - Monday, 4 May

June public holiday - Monday, 1 June

August public holiday - Monday, 3 August

October public holiday - Monday, 26 October
