Is there an architecture show-shaped hole in your life? Missing pebbledash, plywood and soft furnishings in every shade of the rainbow? If so, don't worry: Home Rescue is back for another season, with architect Róisín Murphy and builder Peter Finn together again.
Whether fighting clutter, knocking down walls or helping families trim the fat from their lives, the winning team are here to brighten up our days again.
In tonight's episode...
Róisín and Peter meet Derek and Valerie, a married couple jostling for space in their Co Wicklow home. After 14 years together, Valerie's clothes have started to tower, casting a long shadow over their relationship. Their two-bed semi-detached home is fit to burst.
The clutter isn't mindless, at least: fashion is one of Valerie's great loves and has lead her to taking up every spare inch in their home. She loves shopping online and can't resist a bargain. With so many clothes and so little wardrobe space, Valerie has taken to stuffing her work clothes into the hot press and has taken over the spare room too.
Downstairs, the sitting room is barely accessible. Clothes, shoes, bikes, drones, golf clubs, paintings and books are taking over the space.
This must be a #HomeRescue record for the most bags of clothes removed from one room! pic.twitter.com/QCEjD3sfSa

There have been other setbacks, however. Shortly after buying their home in 2005, Derek became ill. It was found he has a serious bone condition and in recent years, hip and spinal surgeries have limited his ability to deal with the rising tide of clutter in the house.
So much so, that both Valerie and Derek now hate their home and spend most weekends escaping from it.
Enter Róisín and Peter, and their merry gang of homemakers! With just three days and a limited budget, Róisín, Peter and the team will need to rescue their home and turn it into a house that Valerie and Derek will love.
Watch Home Rescue on Tuesdays at 8.30pm on RTÉ One.
