When it comes to knitwear, we're all for loud prints: houndstooth, polka dot, animal print, we love them all. But one fair isle jumper is making the rounds online for being a little too ... out there.

The Felicity Fairisle Jumper from Fat Face is causing a stir online thanks to its accidentally cheeky pattern. A fair isle jumper typically includes intricate patterns in a simple colour palette, and is a favourite for winter.

However, Fat Face's design features a long row of festive geometric shapes that happen to look like breasts, as spotted by one user of the bustling online forum, Mumsnet.

Posting in a thread titled 'It's not just me is it? This jumper...’, the woman wrote "Cannot be unseen. I look forward to observing those jumpers in the wild."

Comments have now found themselves in the review section for the jumper, with 'MelonGunGuns' writing, "Nothing I like more than images of melons on my melons!"

A five-star review was more specific: "Looks just like a row of boobs. Not to say that there's anything wrong with that. It is a lovely jumper, just don't be surprised if you have a few curious glances whilst out shopping or taking tea."

Proving that the best marketing in 2019 can be to embrace a gaff, Fat Face responded to comments saying that  Whilst booby bunting wasn't quite the look our designers were going for, we’re embracing it", adding that they would be "grabbing life by the boobs and donating 10% from the sale of this jumper to breast cancer awareness charity, CoppaFeel!"

The jumper costs £56 or roughly €65, and if you're looking for a conversation starter that won't leave you nippy (sorry), this might be the Christmas jumper for you!
