Get ready to cry, people! The Rotunda returns to RTÉ2 tonight at 9:30pm with a new brand new batch of eye-opening stories, each one more inspiring, heart-warming and thought-provoking than the last.
The show goes behind the scenes at the world's longest-running maternity hospital where close to one million Dubliners have been born and some 24 new babies are added to that number every day.
In this new series, we'll welcome back the familiar faces of our favourite doctors and midwives as well as 32 expectant parents as they enter The Rotunda hospital, an institution that has been in operation since 1745.
For some, a visit to the Rotunda is pretty straight forward - a quick and simple visit to the Delivery Suite resulting in healthy babies and happy parents.
For others, the journey to parenthood will require additional help and support from the hospital's dedicated team of doctors and midwives in the hope that their babies will arrive safely.
From extreme highs to devastating lows this award-winning series gives a unique insight into the busiest maternity hospital in Europe.
On tonight's episode...
Jade and Keith are preparing to meet their third baby while for first-time parents, Jing and Christy, the road to parenthood has taken almost ten years.

In the Pre-Natal ward, Sam and Liam anxiously count down the arrival of twins whose lives are in serious danger due to having their umbilical cords entwined while Nigerian woman Ugochinyere prepares for the arrival of triplets despite not knowing if her husband and daughter will ever be able to join her in Ireland.
Watch The Rotunda every Thursday on RTÉ2 and 9:30pm.
