RTÉ viewers were treated to what Ryan Tubridy called "one of the weirdest weather forecasts you might have seen on RTÉ in recent times" this week, as the host of The Late Late Show dropped in on RTÉ Weather to make a special announcement.
With some help from Met Éireann, Ryan revealed that he will be taking his radio show on the road next week, traveling down the scenic Wild Atlantic Way. Starting in Donegal and stopping off in Sligo, Clare and Galway, Ryan will bring his listeners along for the ride.
Taking the reigns from RTÉ Weather presenter Nuala Carey, Ryan valiantly took the reigns of the forecast, promising Nuala they could "swap" roles in return.
Predicting a "not so hot" weekend, he added "but that's okay, that's where we come in. We're the sunshine on a grey day!"

Be sure to listen in and, if in the area, grab a "cheap key ring ... from the chip van", as Ryan promises!
