Before and After: OT leaders 8 weeks on
Last night's finale of Operation Transformation was an emotional and heartwarming affair, with the five leaders strutting the catwalk to celebrate their eight-week journey towards better health and happier lives.
Dressed up to the nines, Cathal Gallagher, Paul Murphy, Jean Tierney, Pamela Swayne and Siobhán O'Brien took turns in the spotlight, dazzling the judges, audiences and each other with their transformations.
It was a special treat to see Jean Tierney turning it out on the catwalk, having left the show in week 6 after learning she was pregnant. Safe to say, the mum-to-be was positively glowing.
Most notable, of course, was their sheer delight at how far they had come, physically and mentally, and confidence radiated off of each one of them.
