Amy Huberman confirms she has nothing to do with online 'scam'

Amy Huberman took to social media yesterday afternoon to warn her followers about a beauty product that she claims is using her image without her knowledge or permission.

The IFTA-winning actress has contacted her lawyers and accused the DermaVix brand of using her 'image association with a farce scam product' as well as writing articles that are 'completely fabricated'.

She confirmed to her social media followers that she has nothing to do with the product and that her lawyers have advised her that they appear as 'dark ads'.

Dark advertising is a type of online advertising that is only visible to the publisher and the intended target group.

Amy asked her followers to copy the link of the ad if they came across it and to send it to her privately on social media. She also claimed that the beauty cream goes under other names than DermaVix.

Earlier this year, Miriam O'Callagan found herself in a similar position when she claimed that a beauty product was using her image to sell a beauty product called TryVix.
