Helena Hughes, the 2018 Kilkenny Rose, certainly personifies #JobGoals. We're more than a little envious of her job title which she told us about at the launch of the 2018 Rose of Tralee.
"I'm on the cosmetics buying team at Brown Thomas. It's a brilliant team. A team full of women, not surprisingly."
"I love cosmetics, fragrances and skincare and that's what we're looking after. So it's a dream job."
Not only that but the stylish Rose previously owned a Vintage clothes shop in Dublin's George Street Arcade. As a fashion guru, we asked her for the top three things in her suitcase.
"My stage dress, this dress and my gown for Thursday night at the celebration of the Roses."
Although Seán Taaffes will be providing the makeovers in the Dome this week, the Roses are left to their own devices in the meantime.
Luckily, the Kilkenny lady is more than capable as she has a love for all things beauty. We asked for Helena's top 3 makeup bag buys.
- Mac's Ruby Woo
- Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream
- Makeup remover
