The social media response to the homophobic incident at PantiBar on the eve of Pride has been astounding. The Irish Fairy Door Company are the latest to join the retaliation as they gifted Panti Bliss a personalised Fairy Door.

A man was arrested following an incident on Capel Street on Friday evening in which a brick adorning a homophobic message was thrown through the window of PantiBar.

"Piteoga amach as Éirinn" is an Irish message meaning "Fairies out of Ireland."

But the Irish community were quick to point out the grammatical error made by the culprit.

A huge response has begun across social media particularly on Twitter, sparked by @WillStLeger

After seeing that picture of a rock thrown through Pantibar's window last night. I thought we could have fun today by downloading this blank brick and adding our own message to it for Dublin LGBTQ #Pride #EraseTheHate #DublinPride pic.twitter.com/AKLOWpXi8W

Some people got very creative with their responses.

The Irish Fairy Door company took it a step further and gifted Dr. Panti Bliss with a personalised fairy door for all the fairies at PantiBar.

Panti's response?

Pantisocracy has returned to RTÉ Radio One Monday at 10pm.
