With her first baby due in November, Xposé presenter Glenda Gilson talks to Janice Butler about her excitement, struggling with morning sickness and getting pregnancy tips from her TV friends. Get a sneak peek below.
Glenda made headlines recently for saying she was not going to follow in the footsteps of Vogue Williams, who has been sticking to her gym regime throughout her pregnancy. She’s quick to clarify that she has no issue with someone exercising when they’re pregnant.
"The reason I said that is because Vogue works out all the time and now she’s pregnant she’s continuing. I haven’t been in the gym in a few years."
How does she stay in such great shape? "I go through these phases of loving the gym and being obsessed with it and then I’ll take a week off and I’m gone for a year.
"There’s no point in me starting in the gym now; sure it’s been hard enough for me to get into work some days, never mind adding the pain of exercise to it.
"But I’m very active, I’m always out, always walking the dog. She’s quite demanding."
