The People of the Year Awards 2018 were originally due to take place on Saturday, March 3 but were postponed due to Storm Emma and now a new date has been announced.
The 43rd People of the Year awards will take place on Sunday, April 15 in Dublin's Mansion House and will be broadcast live on RTÉ One at 9:45pm.
Once again the awards will be presented by Gráinne Seoige and Aidan Power, who will also host the TV show.
The awards are one of the most special ones that take place each year because they focus and honour the best amongst us - the brave, courageous, inspiring every day heroes in Ireland and abroad.
Nominated by the public, the winners are divided into a number of categories including Young Person of the Year, Community Group of the Year, Sports Person of the Year and International Person of the Year.
This year RTÉ Radio 1's Today with Sean O'Rourke have gotten involved in the awards by supporting The Everyday Hero Award and on Thursday February 22 they announced that Colette Byrne, pictured below, as the winner.
