David and Conna met in New Zealand whilst on their travels in Wellington over five years ago. The 29-year-old groom had to woo his bride-to-be as she believed they were better off as friends!
In fact, she thought they were complete opposites; Conna loves Roller Derby, tattoos and rocks a head of pink hair while David loves all things glitter and sparkle.
Now, five years later, the couple live in Belfast with their dog Franky and are counting down to their wedding day.
Generally, Conna takes charge of most situations which means David has never had to organise too much. Now, Conna is handing over the reins so that her other half can prove how capable he is... what could possibly go wrong?
In fairness to him, David may be the most creative groom to grace Don't Tell the Bride yet.
