The winner of the Best Decorated Christmas Home has been announced...
And the winner is...
When AJ McKee knew she wouldn't be home for Christmas she decided to go all out and decorate her mums home and the result is an award winner.
We had so many entries to the competition on email, Twitter and Facebook and as you can see there were some pretty amazing ones in there.
The price is a seven-night family break for up to six people in a four star Dream Ireland Holiday Home on a self-catering basis - see all the original competition details below.

There have been some fantastic entries so far from all across the country and while some families have shared photos of their Christmassy homes, others have shared videos like the one below from AJ McKee.
AJ won't be home for Christmas so she decided to decorate her mam's house in a big way this year. She says it's been a year in the planning with weeks of construction and a few thousand LED lights!

Tracy Kelleher's home has everything from the Grinch to a handmade crib. The family love Christmas and decided to light up their home in memory of their son who passed away. All donations received will go to make the Make a Wish Foundation.

Nancy Harnett e-mailed us on behalf of Tony Noonan from Templeglantine, Co. Limerick. According to Nancy, Tony has dedicated the past sixteen years of his life to collecting for charities with his Christmas lights displays. Last year, he raised €26,700 for charity.

Paddy Toner and Phil Corcoran from Lucan have created a light display in aid of Temple Street Children's Hospital. Last year they raised over €4000 and this year they hope to raise even more funds by going bigger and brighter!
There is a donation bucket outside the house each evening and the lights are on from 5pm to 11pm each night.

Shauna White sent us photos of her dad's home in Palmerstown. According to Shauna, Sean works for weeks and weeks to put the display together for charity.
He does it in aid of a little boy named Dylan who lives locally and has cerebral palsy. Last year they managed to collect over €1,700 to help Dylan's family care for him and this year they hope to raise even more.

Lorraine and Kevin Lynch in Limerick are collecting money for the Limerick Maternity neo-natal unit where their little girl Caoimhe was born back in 2010, having arrived seven weeks early and weighing just two pounds and five ounces. Since then, the family has been raising money every Christmas for the neo-unit.

The Hayes Christmas Lights in Shanagolden Co Limerick raises funds for the Milford Hospice in Limerick and The Children Ark Unit in Limerick Hospital.

Deirdre Culligan sent in some photos of this house is in West Clare on behalf of John Fennell, who runs a set dancing school for children aged 4-18. Every year he decorates his house and studio so that children and parents from all over Clare can enjoy them. According to Deirdre, as you drive over the hill from Kilrush town the house looks like an absolute vision.
