Photographer and eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham, Brooklyn, is getting a lot of attention across social media platforms thanks to his new 'Made in England' tattoo.

The 18-year-old’s profile has been growing steadily over the years from when he began taking to the catwalk in campaigns for acclaimed brands such as Burberry.

He has over 10 million followers on Instagram, almost 400,000 followers on both Facebook and Instagram – safe to say that people are interested in what he’s up to.

The latest news? His new tattoo, his second in a week, is causing a wee storm on social.

Many believe that he was famously named because of where he was conceived in New York and so are having great fun after seeing his new his ‘Made in England’ tattoo, which he posted on Instagram (video).

The reaction:
Some people have been having a great giggle with this one, including comedian and former Inbetweeners actor James Buckley, who tweeted: "Brooklyn Beckham has a made in England tattoo. Brooklyn Beckham ... BROOKLYN .... BRRRRRROOOOOOOOKLYYYYN BROOOOOOOKKKLLLLYYYYNNNNNNNNNN".

Urban Legend V's the Truth?
However according to his mum, Victoria, he was not named Brooklyn because he was conceived there - or at least that's not what she wrote in her autobiography, Learning to Fly.

"It was when we were in Marbella that we came up with the name Brooklyn. We already knew he was a boy and so I knew he could end up a footballer, so it had to be a name that was a bit blokey. I had always liked the name Brooke and then we suddenly thought about Brooklyn. I’d always like it as a place – it’s very multi-cultural, very grounded. And it was only afterwards that I realized how appropriate it was because it was in New York that I found out I was pregnant and where David came after the World Cup."

So maybe Brooklyn is following in the footsteps of his commercially and media savvy parents and enjoying his new tattoo whilst having the last on this one. Meanwhile he's busy promoting his new photography book, 'What I See'.
