Morning Ireland's annual Ireland by Bike series on RTÉ Radio 1 comes to an end as reporter Cian McCormack reaches his final destination in County Kerry but not before a dip in the Atlantic and bumping into a familiar face!

Cian has cycled over 440 kilometres and brought listeners great interviews, images, Vlogs and updates from his journey along the Wild Atlantic Way and beyond.

After the wonderful weather and high temperatures during the week, he was really looking forward to meeting with the co-owner of Wild Water Adventures, John Edwards before donning a wetsuit and diving into the Atlantic.

Cian has been a one-man-show recording his audio reports for Radio 1's Morning Ireland audience, recording a vlog for us online on rte.ie/lifestyle and on RTÉ News Now plus for social media, as below. He's been taking pics as you can see - sometimes with the help of kindly strangers! Plus he livestreams for RTÉ News Now's online TV channel - all done on his iPhone. A great example of mobile journalism (aka MoJo) in action.
