Cian reported from outside Ballybunion in County Kerry on the Bromore cliffs and as you can see from the images below and from the live reports on RTÉ News Now TV, the views are spectacular.

The cliffs are 180 feet high, have sea stacks and caves and, as Cian said in his report above, are spectacular. Local farmer, Michael Flahive, has developed a walk way there and is supplementing his income through tourism in the area.
He also stops to talk to local piper, Danny Houlihan, pictured below, who set up Eco Trek Tours to show visitors the beauty of the cliffs, the walkway and this part of the Wild Atlantic Way.

The champion piper has seven All Ireland medals and is passionate about his local areas as he is about his music so he mixes both on the tours that he offers to visitors to the area. He believes: "There is a place for everyone on the Wild Atlantic Way." Watch the interview with Danny Houlihan here:

Whilst cycling his 45 kilometres on Wednesday on his way to Kerry he met an American family, the Zellers from Idaho, on the ferry to Tarbert and they weren't just holiday makers, they had a special reason for their trip to Ireland.
Elizabeth revealed: "We are riding through the west coast of Ireland, and we have a little bit of my mother with me who is from here and so we're spreading some of her ashes."
