RTÉ's Cian McCormack is on the road again for Morning Ireland's travel series Ireland by Bike.

Yesterday, Cian discovered the Quirky Glamping Village of Muckduff, Enniscrone, Co. Sligo and the voluntary work of Ballykilcash, Co. Sligo. Read about it here.

This morning, the reporter headed towards the village of Coolaney, Co. Sligo. On the way, he also stopped to chat to 76-year-old farmer, Michael P. Dunne, on the side of the road to get a prediction of the weather.

"There is certain signs we see on the Ox Mountains, as you look up there now, there's sign that says between twelve and one o'clock in the day [that there will be rain]", says Michael.

The Coolaney Camino is a walking event that takes place on the first Saturday of July every year. The walk is a 34-kilometre walk along the Sligo Way that attracts tourists from all over the country.

Additionally, the money raised from the walk is then put back into the community.

"That fundraising walk then is used to fund a wide range of community projects here in the village of Coolaney; our community centre, our community park and playground and now in the coming years, the establishment of Connaught's first community cafe", says Joseph.
