On tonight's episode of Home of the Year, the judges travel to West Cork to visit a beautiful coastal home before heading on to County Wicklow where they check out a re-imagined bungalow.
Finally, the judges introduce us to a 19th Century railway-goods-shed turned home. Yes, really!
Host Declan O'Donnell told RTÉ LifeStyle that it was the home owner's passion and ingenuity that makes the property so special. "It has to be seen, to be believed" he said.
Paul & Jan's Extended Bungalow in County Cork

Architect Paul Keating and his wife Jan bought their 1980's bungalow in County Cork in 2007 and worked hard to extend and refurbish the home while keeping their incredible views in tact.
The stylish couple used salvaged and repurposed materials throughout the home, most impressively perhaps, is the basketball court that they transformed into a contemporary deck area.
Collete and Marcus's family bungalow in County Wicklow

Interior designer Collette Ward, her husband Marcus Davey and their two sons found their family bungalow in County Wicklow seventeen years ago.
As an interior designer, Collete wanted to add her own unique style to the home and did so by creating a glass filled extension and transforming the attic space into a stunning master bedroom and landing area.
Susan and Alan's railway-goods-shed in County Wicklow

Susan Gorman and Alan Ross spent eight long years transforming a 19th Century railway goods shed in County Wicklow into a liveable home.
The two worked endlessly on the property to both preserve and modernise it into becoming a truly fascinating home. We can't wait to see the judges react to the exposed stone walls and the terrace at the rear of the house mimicking an old railway platform.
