In last night's episode of Home of the Year, we met Alec Darragh, a cycling enthusiast who planned to build himself a garage, but ended up building an entire house!
Alec lives in a contemporary end-of-terrace home in North Dublin. He chose a modern aesthetic while keeping the house functional to suit his lifestyle, which includes a passion for restoring racing bikes.
Alec's home includes a large living space, a garage for his bikes, and a front terrace that allows light to flood through the home.
The Home of the Year judges fell in love with the aluminium-clad house and those stunning floor to ceiling picture windows.
