Organic Beef Farming in Wicklow
Darragh McCullough heads to Ballyhenry in Co. Wicklow to visit the O'Connell family. Joe O'Connell and his daughter Rebecca tell Darragh that although they have owned a beautiful 500-acre farm for thirty years, they have only been farming it themselves for the past four. They explain how the farm is urn with minimal labour as they rear their Aberdeen Angus cattle.

Finding a balance in Laois
New Zealander Andre van Barneveld has always had a love for farming but his hard work ethic didn't always lead to a happy home life. These days, Andre is working as a dairy consultant and is trying to find a balance of both financial and lifestyle success.
Helen Carroll travels with Andre to a farm owned by Niall Walsh in Laois who has discovered small yet integral changes that have had a positive impact on his life both at work and at home.

Saving the Red Grouse in North Leitrim
In 2007, the Red Grouse was in dire straits. Only three remained on Boleybrack Mountain and numbers all over Ireland were declining. Luckily, the people of North Leitrim rallied together to save the much-loved bird. Tonight, Ear to the Ground speak to the impressive community to find out the secret to their success.
Finally, Ella McSweeney chases the dawn in the beautiful Boleybrack Mountain in North Leitrim in the hope of hearing the elusive Red Grouse.
