We caught up with the presenter to find out what she has planned for 2017 once Can't Stop Dancing has ended. Bláthnaid told RTÉ LifeStyle's Soraiya Ryan that she has some exciting new projects lined up for the year, ahead along with her regular slot on 2fm.
"I'm working on a TG4 show, so that's another series, a fashion series that I'm working on so everything is taking up quite a bit of time"
We all know how much Bláthnaid loves her fashion, but in her heart of hearts, she says it's all about the music. Once she finds some free time, the presenter plans to travel to New York in search of some good tunes.
"Music is my thing as well, like I love going and catching lots of bands and my boyfriend's a jazz musician, so there's lots of cool jazz clubs there"
Next up? More music of course! Bláthnaid and nineteen of her closest friends will be heading to Barcelona.
"We're going to Primavera, this incredible festival so there's about twenty of us going over, it's like a sixth year holiday, but we're almost thirty so it's pretty funny"
