Operation Transformation season ten is coming to an end! Before the final episode on Thursday, 23rd of February at the earlier time of 7:00 pm we decided to get chatting to past leader Lucy Dillon to talk about her experience and to find out what our current leaders can expect after the show ends.
Lucy spoke to RTÉ LifeStyle's Taragh Loughrey-Grant about why she signed up to the show in the first place saying:
"I was twenty-four, I was a mammy to one child, Molly, she was one at the time. I was just finished my final year in college as well, I had just graduated, and I just hit rock bottom."
"I just couldn't see myself moving on, enjoying life or just being me, the way I used to be, happy and bubbly and chirpy, just getting out there and enjoying myself, being young. So, I saw that the applications were online and I said... I don't know, something just made me do it...it was the best thing I've ever done."

Lucy was one of the youngest leaders on Operation Transformation, she told the LifeStyle Show how she found herself to be overweight at such a young age.
"I knew I had gained weight but I didn't realise how much, like I knew I was seventeen stone but it's...now when I look back is when I think 'wow, no, you did have a lot of weight to lose, you were so unhappy'.
Lucy told Taragh that there was one photo in particular, that sparked her weight loss goals.
"There is a picture of me sitting at my dad's kitchen table. It's just a side photo and my face...like I actually don't look like me, my face was so puffy and swollen and I had such a double chin."
The OT leader now follows a healthy food plan full of Operation Transformation approved meals which you can get the recipes for here. Lucy recommends the chicken pesto pasta and a tasty, filling frittata.
