On tonight's episode of Operation Transformation on RTÉ One at 8:30pm, Carlingford leader Yvonne reveals the struggle of keeping a healthy lifestyle while worrying about her husband's health.
Husband Stephen has been battling cancer for the last five years and tonight he receives the results of his latest scan.
Earlier today, Yvonne spoke to Ray D'Arcy about her experience, so far, on the show and how she plans to celebrate both her husband's results and her amazing weight loss!
"There was something on his back so we were waiting for the results of that scan but in the meantime Operation Transformation started and I went ahead anyway so he was very nervous about these results in particular because of that.
And he got the all clear again. Such a relief."
Despite her own health issues, Yvonne says that she is thoroughly enjoying her fitness plan. She told Ray she is shocked by how much better she is feeling thanks to the fitness plan:
“As the weeks have gone on I’ve realised it’s improved my energy level. It’s improved my walking and I feel my hip is looser. I just feel better for it. I can’t believe how much better I actually feel.”

Elsewhere on the show, twenty-five-year-old Seán Daly hits a wall with his food and exercise plan but he manages to get by with a little help from his work friends.
The Clondalkin leader is shocked to find that after just four weeks of working out, Seán is already fitter than his friends.
During the ad break, Snooker pro Ken Doherty follows in Marty Morrissey's footsteps and takes on the 'Ad break challenge' with Karl Henry. He encourages viewers to get fit with him:
"Come on Ireland, let's get moving!"
