Tomorrow, Saturday, parkrun will launch their Couch to 5k events in over sixty locations across the country. These free, weekly events are family-friendly and open to all levels of fitness. The Couch to 5k programme is the perfect way to get fit for 2017 and a brilliant way to socialise without any food or drink in sight.
The events will begin this Saturday, 14th of January at 9:30am and run until Saturday, 18th of February. All events are free but you must register to take part! Click here to register for this week's walk/run. Next week, Operation Transformation will take part in a Couch to 5k parkrun in the Phoenix Park, Dublin. Registration for this event will open at a later date.
In the meantime, you can get fit with Operation Transformation by tuning into RTÉ One every Wednesday and Thursday at 8:30 pm or catch up on the RTÉ Player. For more info head to the OT website.
