Toy Show producers John McMahon and Katherine Drohan have been working all year round for Ireland's biggest night in television.
When asked how they're feeling as they prepare for the show to go on air at 9:35pm tonight, the pair said they were happy the day had finally arrived! "It's the best night of the year! Where else would you want to be?" asks John.

Last year's Late Late Toy Show was the most watched programme of the year with an average of 1.36 million viewers! Children and grown-ups alike count down to T-Day with such excitement that it has become a family tradition.
So many of us use the show as a rule of thumb for when to put up our Christmas trees and when to start singing along to Christmas carols. So how do John and Katherine handle the pressure? Katherine says she's too busy to worry!
"It's a juggernaut that once you're on the road you can not stop so just don't think about the pressure, just go with it and hopefully everything will arrive here tonight at 9:35pm and it will all work perfectly."

Katherine and John eat, sleep and breathe the Toy Show all year round and by now they feel like they've seen it all! Katherine's stand out moment happened off script when a young girls doll produced some very realistic bodily function into its diaper.
Ryan proceeded to pick up the nappy and chase the girl around the audience which Katherine says definitely came as a surprise.
"Absolutely, completely off script, we didn't know where to point the cameras, we didn't know what to do and that is still my favourite moment on the Toy Show".

After almost a year of planning and months of hard work, what do the Toy Show team do once the show has ended? "Breathe a sigh of relief!" says Katherine.
