Bridget & Eamon grace our screens on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player on the 14th November and we are counting down the days! Jennifer Zamparelli and Bernard O'Shea started the show as a sketch on RTÉ2’s Republic of Telly but Bridget had notions that couldn't be contained and soon the couple were thrown on to our TV screens.

The couple will appear on The Late Late Show with Ryan Tubridy along with guests Dara O'Briain, Oliver Callan, David McGowan and Bibi Baskin. Everything from Trump to a Quicksilver quiz will be on the table so be sure to tune in to RTÉ One at 9:35pm tonight.

We caught up with Jennifer and Bernard ahead of tonight's show to see what Bridget and Eamon have in store for us with their brand new series! Needless to say, filming the second series was intense....

"Bernard has tried to kill me, I think we're up to three now, he actually tried to run me over in the car park one day"

In season two Bridget and Eamon will open a hair salon in the house, head to Dublin with some Americans, lose their minds over a missed phone call, solve a murder, get a visit from the mafia and possibly accidentally kill Eamon's mammy! Stressfull stuff but overall Jennifer says that she's happy with the results and really (really, really) hopes, everyone will enjoy.

"I really do feel we got into our stride a little bit. I mean I learned loads from writing series one."

Bridget & Eamon are still stuck in the midlands of Ireland with their 6 to 8 kids with only cigarettes, alcohol and choppy changey hair to get them through it all but Bernard believes that this season two is easier to watch with better writing, funnier scripts and amazing guest stars!

"I'm really nervous about it, but I do think it's better than season one. People would expect me to say that anyway!"
