The Dublin native faces lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 on Saturday night, November 11.
It is a chance for him to claim his third UFC title and become the first fighter to hold two titles at the same time. He has called Saturday's historic event: "The McGregor Show."
"I run this whole [show]," he said during a recent international conference call with reporters.
"I run New York. I’m the reason we’re even here in the first place. I’m the reason this whole thing is happening. If I wasn’t here this whole ship goes down. That’s facts."
