We caught up with last year's leader John Conmy to discuss his experience of the show and how he's carried on with his amazing weight loss since the cameras left his home.
"The last year has been absolutely huge for me. This time last year I was touching twenty three stone, today, nine months on, I'm touching eighteen stone. A loss of five stone."

John went on to tell us just how much Operation Transformation did for him and what steps helped him to change his life.
The show gives you a skill set and a frame of mind that you just don't pick up from a weight loss programme. It's not a weight loss programme, it's a whole life style change so it is. You build in your forty minutes of exercise a day, you watch your portion size, you know what to cook and you know how to train from Karl.
John explained how it can be especially difficult for men to reach out for help when it comes to their health and lifestyle.
"It's great for men especially because it's very important that men get out there. Men are afraid to go to the doctor, afraid to go on weight loss missions and it's so so important for them to get out there and get involved."

"Once you find out how to eat healthily and you find out how to train successfully, and you find out what to eat and you find out how to cut back on your drink - the results are amazing."
