DUBLIN TRAFFIC
A collision has been cleared at the Ballinteer Rd R/A before the M50. Delays should ease shortly.
Traffic is slow along the Grand Canal eastbound from Harolds Cross to Leeson St Bridge.
Traffic is slow on the N4 Lucan Rd from J3 Lucan towards Palmerstown Bypass.
It's slow inbound on the N7 Naas Rd at from the Green Isle through to the Long Mile Rd jct.
Traffic is busy along the North Quays from Ormond Quay to Bachelors Walk.
Inbound on Rathmines Rd, it's busy from the canal to Kelly's Corner.
The Stillorgan Rd is improving through Donnybrook. Nearby, it's moving better at St. Vincents Hospital on the Merrion Rd.
There are delays heading into the city from Fairview to Connolly Station on Amiens St.
Seville Place is slow onto Guild St which is busy through to Samuel Beckett bridge.
Inbound on the Swords Rd is busy from Collins Ave to Drumcondra.
Both the Finglas Rd and the Botanic Rd are slow heading towards the Phibsborough Rd where delays continue as far as Doyle's Corner.
The Navan Rd is slow inbound from after the Auburn Ave jct to the Baggot Rd jct.
Harolds Cross Rd inbound is slow from the park to Leonard's Corner on Clanbrassil St.
No major delays or incidents to report for M50 traffic in either direction.
Don't forget, Clontarf Rd is closed for works between Mount Prospect Ave and Dollymount Ave until approx. Mon 7th Nov. Then from Mon 7th until approx. midnight on Sun 27th Nov, it will be closed between Dollymount Ave and Kincora Rd. Traffic for both closures will be diverted via the Howth Rd. Diversions will be signposted.
CITY TRAFFIC
CORK: A collision has been cleared from the N40 South Ring Rd eastbound at J9 Bloomfield. Still heavy though from just after J6 Kinsale Rd to the Dunkettle Interchange. Westbound traffic is slow at J9 too. On the N8 Dublin Rd, traffic is busy approaching the Dunkettle Interchange. It's busy inbound on the South City Link Rd approaching The Elysian. There are delays both ways on the Lwr Glanmire Rd; outbound approaching the Dunkettle R/A and inbound from before the Tivoli Flyover through to Penrose Quay. Also busy in the city centre on Carroll's Quay, Summerhill North and Lavitt's Quay.

Carroll's Quay inbound from the Leitrim St jct to Camden Pl jct will be closed from 8pm to 6am nightly until tomorrow (27th) for works. Diversions will be in place.
GALWAY: Beginning to ease now inbound on the N17/Tuam Rd between Loughgeorge and Claregalway but slow then approaching Bothar na dTreabh. Otherwise delays have eased in Glaway City.
WATERFORD: Still some delays approaching Rice Bridge from Ferrybank. There are delays too inbound now on the Newtown Rd at the People's Park.
Inbound traffic on Catherine St will be diverted via Waterside and John St until Tues 8th Nov for works.
CORK: Traffic is easing at this stage across Cork City.
Carroll's Quay inbound from the Leitrim St jct to Camden Pl jct will be closed from 8pm to 6am nightly until tomorrow (27th) for works. Diversions will be in place.
LIMERICK: Traffic has eased on most routes into Limerick City.
NATIONAL TRAFFIC
KILKENNY: Gardai are dealing with a collision in the hard shoulder of the M9 Dublin/ Waterford Rd southbound after J10 Knocktopher. There is also some debris on the carriageway so caution is advised on approach.
CORK: There are delays approaching the Lake View R/A eastbound on the N25 Waterford Rd, from Ballinacurra and also from Midleton on St. Mary's Rd.
MONAGHAN: Garda are advising extreme care on approach to the jct of Dawson St, Broad Rd, Glen Rd and Market Rd in Monaghan Town as traffic lights there are out of action.
GALWAY: A car that was on fire on the N17 Sligo/ Galway Rd has been cleared outside the Garda Station in Tuam.
KILDARE: Traffic is slow northbound on the M7 Limerick/Dublin Rd from J8 Johnstown past J6 Castlewarden and then passing J4 Rathcoole.
WICKLOW: Delays are easing on the M11/N11 Wexford/ Dublin Rd northbound between J11 Greystones and J6 Bray/ Fassaroe.
LOUTH: The N2 Monaghan/ Dublin Rd is closed south of Ardee at Blakestown Cross for works until Fri 23rd Dec. A lengthy diversion will be in place via Drogheda on the M1 Dublin/ Belfast Rd or the Old N1 (R132).
KILDARE: A stop/ go system is in place for works on the Athy Rd (R418) south of Kilcullen until Friday (28th). Expect delays.
TIPPERARY: Gardaí say a stop/go is likely to remain in place on the Thurles/Nenagh Rd (R498) at Ballinamona Cross until approx. Friday (28th) following a building fire on Monday (24th).
CORK: Works are in place on the N25 Cork/Waterford Rd at Killeagh from 9:30am to 4pm, Mon to Fri each week until approx. the end of May 2017.
EVENTS
DUBLIN: The Commitments will be staged at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre until Saturday (29th). The show starts each night at 7:30pm. There will also be a matinee performances will at 2:30pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Traffic delays can be expected on Macken St, particularly after the show.
CORK: UCC Conferring Ceremonies continue until Friday (28th). There will be three ceremonies on each day at 10am, 12:30pm and 3:30pm. This will add to delays in the vicinity of the university as a result, particularly on College Rd.
ROADWORKS
CAVAN: A stop/go system will be in place for works on the N3 Dublin/ Cavan Rd north of Virginia at Billis Bridge until Friday (28th).
CORK: Works are in place on the N25 Cork/Waterford Rd at Killeagh from 9:30am to 4pm, Mon to Fri each week until approx. the end of May 2017.
DONEGAL: There will be works taking place on the N14 Lifford/ Letterkenny Rd between Lifford Bridge and Rossgier until approx. Fri 31st March 2017. The majority of the works will be overnight between 7pm and 7am.
DONEGAL: Works are taking place on the N15 Lifford/Ballybofey Rd south of Lifford at Coneyburrow until approx Fri 4th Nov.
DONEGAL: A stop/ go system is in place for works on the N15 Donegal/ Ballyshannon Rd just north of Laghy until approx. Fri 11th Nov.
DUBLIN: Lane restrictions will be in place overnight on the M50 northbound at J4 Ballymun today (26th) between 10pm and 6am tomorrow (27th) for works.
DUBLIN: The M50 northbound on slip at J4 Ballymun will be closed today (26th) between 10pm and 6am tomorrow (27th). Diversions will be in place via J5 Finglas.
DUBLIN: There will be lane restrictions on the M50 northbound from J13 Sandyford to J12 Firhouse overnight between 10pm and 6am tomorrow (27th).
DUBLIN: Dominick St Upper will be one-way southbound between Palmerston Place and Mountjoy St until approx Sat 31st Dec for Luas Cross City works. As a result, there will be no left turn from Bolton St and no right turn from Dorset St onto Dominick St Upper. There will also be no access to Dominick St from Mountjoy St. Diversions will be in place.
DUBLIN: Lane restrictions are in place on the N11 Stillorgan Rd at the Johnstown Rd jct until approx. the end of Nov.
DUBLIN: A reduced speed limit of 50 kmph will be in place for works on Con Colbert Rd outbound between the Memorial Rd jct and the Chapelizod Bypass jct until Fri 28th Oct. Further out, a reduced speed limit of 60kmph will be in place on the Chapelizod Bypass outbound from before the Kylemore Rd jct to Palmerstown. The speed limit of Kylemore Rd itself will be reduced to 40kmph both ways between the Lucan Rd and Rossmore Drive, as well as on the slip road from the Kylemore Rd to the Chapelizod Bypass.
DUBLIN: Works will take place on Bird Ave in Clonskeagh until approx. end of November. This will result in serious restrictions for through traffic. A traffic management plan will be in place and local access will be maintained at all times. Use alternative routes where possible.
DUBLIN: There will be lane restrictions in place for works on Frascati Rd between Mount Merrion Ave and Rock Hill from 10am to 4pm daily until Wed 2nd Nov.
GALWAY: A stop/ go system is in place for works on the N17 Galway/ Sligo Rd south of Ballindine until approx. end of Oct. Expect some delays.
GALWAY: Minor works are continuing on the N84 Galway/ Castlebar Rd south of Headford until approx December. Traffic is no longer reduced to one lane between Ballynew and Clooneen but reduced speed limits are in place.
LAOIS: A stop/go system is in place on the N80 Portlaoise/Tullamore Rd at Twomilebridge, north of Mountmellick for works until approx. the end of October.
LEITRIM: A reduced speed limit of 60kmph is in place on the N16 Sligo/ Enniskillen Rd on the Manorhamilton of Glenfarne village until at least November for ongoing works. A new road layout will also be in place in the area until completion of the works. Take care on approach.
LONGFORD: There is a new road layout at Cathedral jct in Longford Town. Traffic lights and pedestrian crossings are now in operation at the jct of Dublin Rd, Dublin St, Major's Well Rd and New St. In addition, the vehicle entrance and exit from the car park opposite the cathedral to Major's Well Rd has been closed.
MEATH: A stop/go system is in place on the N2 Dublin/ Monaghan Rd approx. 4km north of Slane for works until Sun 30th Oct. Delays can be expected at peak times.
MEATH: Works will take place on the N51 Navan/ Slane Rd between Donaghmore and Wiggers Cross until tomorrow (27th). Expect delays.
ROSCOMMON: The N61 Boyle/Roscommon Rd is closed in parts between Boyle and Tulsk until early November. Diversions via Frenchpark and local access will be maintained.
SLIGO: A stop/ go system will be in place on the N16 Sligo/Enniskillen Rd at Castlegal Bridge, Glencar for several weeks. Delays are expected.
TIPPERARY: Temporary traffic lights will be in place on the N24 Limerick/ Tipperary Rd between Limerick Junction and Ballykisteen for works until Friday (28th) from 8am to 4:30pm daily.
TIPPERARY: Kickham St in Nenagh will be closed from the Pearse St jct to the Emmet Place jct until this Friday (28th) for works. Town centre will remain open for business.
