There are some amazing shows coming to RTÉjr this autumn including one presented by Irish boxer Bernard Dunne and another featuring Seamus the dog called Pop Goes the Weekend. Don't worry your kids will remind you!

Pop Goes the Weekend is RTÉjr's brand new weekend entertainment show featuring Clara, John, brand new presenter Andre, and our favourite pup, Seamus! The show will have mystery guests, sport, challenges, games and cartoons that the kids will love. The Pop gang will keep the kids entertained every Saturday and Sunday morning from 8am.

We caught up with Andre, Clara and Seamus at RTÉjr's autumn launch where they told us about their brand new show and everything we can expect to see on our TVs this winter.

"It's a brilliant show. We've have lots of different elements in the show; we have games, we have challenges, we have kids coming in with their pets!"

Clara went on to explain what age group Pop Goes the Weekend will be aimed at:

Because it's on at the weekends we're going to try and encourage co-viewing and some of the older kids can join in and watch too.

But what about the parents? Will they be able to join their little ones on the couch? Absolutely!

"Seamus is going to be doing some interviews with some familiar faces that the parents might know!"
