After a successful 13th Picnic in Stradbally Hall, promoters have announced tickets for 2017 will go on sale today at 9am and once again offering the ‘discount reward scheme’ for previous Picnicers as well as a three part instalment plan.
Festival Director, Melvin Benn said:
“This year was easily my favourite Electric Picnic to date. We introduced some new areas to the site for 2016 which proved to be amazing along with implementing some changes from 2015 which were all a success. For 2017, the capacity will remain the same and I’m looking forward to what is in store already next year for both seasoned revellers and new”.
Last weekend saw 55,000 Picnickers enjoy everything Electric Picnic has to offer as the jewel in the Irish festival scene. We had an absolute ball at the festival this year with performances from The 1975, Walking on Cars, Catfish and the Bottlemen and so many others!
We explored the new Hazelwood and even tried our arm at the Tour de Picnic!
We had a great aul chat with Kinara Restaurant founder Séan Collender about the wonderful food at EP.
We even got to talk to the fantastic Booka Brass Band! We’re already looking forward to what 2017 will have in store!
