This year, five brave celebrities are taking on the Operation Transformation challenge by becoming leaders in an effort to lose weight and get a healthier lifestyle.
Karl Spain is one of the leaders taking on the challenge. Already 3 weeks into his tailored plan, Karl has been busy preparing for what is sure to be a tough but worthwhile journey.

But while Karl has been working hard, he said that a recent split has shown that more change is needed.
"I'm just back from Electric Picnic...One of the things I said about this show is I wanted to start getting jeans. I still have clothes the early 90s at home."
"There's no point trying to get into them because they won't ever be fashionable again. But yesterday I was picking up a friend's child to pretend he could fly and I felt something go and it was the back of my jeans completely ripped."
"While I'm doing well so far" Karl added Maybe I'm not doing as well as I thought. And I wasn't the real victim, the people behind me suffered the most!"
