Kathryn spoke to RTÉ LifeStyle at the RTÉ TV New Season Launch today at the Bord Gáis.

When asked what we can expect, Kathryn thinks people are going to see the real side of celebrity throughout the season.

"Here you've got people who are in the public eye, whether it's a comedian or a solicitor, or a TV presenter. They've built their career on an image, and maintaining an image. With Operation Transformation there is no such thing as image. It's all about being real."

"It's about being stripped back, literally. About being honest. And I think if they do that, and they're honest in front of the public., they'll get a whole heap of respect. I think it's immensely brave what they're doing. Would I do it? Probably not! And that's why I just think they're deadly.

"All 5 of them want to look after their health. They want to lose weight. They want to get their health on check. And that's 90% of the battle."
