Irish Wedding Dress Shop Owner Faces Charges

Robelle Bridal's former owner, Shirley Flanagan from Limerick, faces charges under the theft and fraud offences act, alleged to have occured at the bridal boutique on dates between January 4 and May 7 2015.

The charges relate to four wedding dresses in the Annacotty store in Limerick totaling over €3,600 euro in value.

Flanagan was served with the book of evidence at Limerick District court today and remanded on her own bail to appear at the next sitting of LImerick Circuit court. She must also sign on twice weekly at Roxbora Garda station, and told to have no contact with witnesses or injured parties in the case.

She was granted free legal aid to cover the costs of her solicitor and a junior counsel for her impending trial.
