Roz not surprised by Trump's presidency bid

Roz told RTÉ LifeStyle's Kayla Walsh that she is “not surprised” by Donald Trump’s bid for the US Presidency. The Irish model, who used to work for his agency in New York, said:

“I don’t know whether he’s going to get it or not, but his campaign has definitely been very interesting to follow.”

The Tipperary beauty, who has been based in Ireland in recent years, pointed out that modelling in the United States is much more high-pressure than modelling at home:

“You can definitely have a bit more of a healthier image [here] and you can eat a little bit more as well.... All those years when I was modelling abroad I found I was always kind of having to do crash diets and trying to fit into a certain shape which my body just was never going to be.”

Bressie’s girlfriend said that her years in America made her think a lot more about what she was putting into her body, which led to her wanting to learn about nutrition. She announced that she is now doing a part-time college course in nutritional therapy:

“I decided to go back and study nutritional therapy, really for my benefit. I’ve such a huge interest in it, and particularly with my food blog...It’s nice to have a little bit more of a stamp of approval now.”

Purcell is becoming a well-known foodie, appearing on Come Dine With Me and The Restaurant. Her blog, Natural Born Feeder, has a huge following. So how does she come up with her recipes?

“I’m a bit of a MacGyver in the kitchen so I try to recreate recipes in that way. Or sometimes it’s if I’m out for dinner or with friends and I try something I really like and I want to enjoy it without the guilt.”
