As an international award-winning designer, Aoife has led design teams on some of Irelands most exciting projects.
With over a decades experience in commercial interior design, Aoife has an insatiable appetite for all things creative. With an exceptional ability to develop exciting, never before seen interior spaces, Aoife’s style, described as “vivacious & fresh”, offers personality, individuality perfectly married with practical functionality.
For Aoife, if it doesn’t work for the client in practical terms, it’s irrelevant how good it looks, for her the key is perfectly formed, user friendly, stunning interiors.
While Aoife may be used to working on high end million Euro projects, she surprisingly loves nothing more than finding a bargain and is a pro at rummaging in discount stores for quirky décor that will give your home that perfect finishing touch.
Together Garry and Aoife have created many talked about designs. They have worked on a huge variety of projects from luxury homes around the world to high end hotels such as The Cliff House, as well as top class hair salons such as Dublin’s Style Club and Peter Mark Grafton Street where their love of clashing colours and unusual textures are boldly displayed.

Garry Cohn
Having worked as a design professor at Manhattan’s Fashion Institute of Technology, Garry has also partnered in design firms in New York and Texas before taking up the position of Design Director at one of Irelands leading architectural firms. Setting out on his own with his business and design partner Aoife Rhattigan, the duo opened the doors to Cohn Rhattigan in 2010.
A leading figure in the creative industry, New Yorker Garry’s 30-year career has spanned many disciplines and continents. His natural talent and discerning eye for detail not only helps to distinguish him as an individual, but also differentiates his clients from the competition.
His love of colour is infectious, he dares all who will let him to be bolder and braver in their design choices. For Garry having personality and flare in your home interiors is far more important than being “on trend”.
