As well as her chart-smashing songs, easter egg clues, and love of cats, Taylor Swift is famous for her die-hard fans.
Today, the Swifties proved their dedication once again by tuning in en masse to the singer's first-ever podcast appearance - and Googling every topic as it came.
Joining her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason Kelce, on their hit sports podcast, New Heights, the singer announced the release of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, which is due to drop on 3 October.
The songs, which were written during her record-smashing Eras Tour, are said to detail her life behind the scenes, with much of the podcast discussion leaning into this theme.
From her relationship with Travis to having hobbies that "you could have had in the 1700s", the 35-year-old opened up about how she spends her time when she's not on the road.
In particular, the homebody said she finds a "different baking obsession every six months", with sourdough bread being her current passion project.
"I'm really talking about bread 60% of the time now," she joked. "It's become a huge, huge factor."
"There's blueberry lemon, there's cinnamon swirl, cinnamon raisin, and this one I've been workshopping for the girls, because they love everything rainbow, Funfetti sourdough."
The episode dropped at 7pm Eastern Standard Time, with the topic leading to a massive spike in Google searches across the globe moments after it was mentioned.
In particular, Google Trends showed that "cinnamon swirl sourdough" searches went up 300% as a breakout query, while "blueberry lemon sourdough" searches went up by 130%, and "blueberry sourdough" searches surged by 110%.
The singer says she pulls inspiration and information from sourdough blogs that she comes across online.
"There's people like me out there, and this is where the internet is good. This is where the internet is a good place where you can curate a reality where all I really use the internet for is sourdough and when Travis shows me videos on otters on his Instagram algorithm."
Of course, being a lyrical genius, Swift can't help but name her creations after her hits. These pun-based names include:
- Are you bready for it?
- Flour song
- It's a loaf story, baby, just say yeast
- Loafing him was bread
