Neven Maguire joined Today with Claire Byrne on RTÉ Radio 1 to discuss his new book, More Midweek Meals, and share some tasty freezer-friendly recipes.
The Cavan chef told Claire that the new book follows the success of Midweek Meals - a cookbook that gained huge popularity during the height of the pandemic.
"It's the one good thing that has come out of COVID: people have reconnected with food and ingredients, they're cooking together as a family. I definitely felt it and then we thought Midweek Meals, let's do More Midweek Meals. Let's do 100 new recipes, four different chapters, like a one-tray roasting dinner that you're not dirtying pots and pans - that's the way people love to cook."
Insisting that batch cooking and planning ahead is essential to making life easier, Neven shared a number of cooking tips and tasty one pot wonders.
