Last night, we waved goodbye to Yan, named Steven star baker and had a weekly dose of Noel Fielding fashion envy.
This week on The Great British Bake Off, we were treated to a brand new culinary challenge - Italian Week.
Temperatures soared in the tent as the bakers attempted to create some decadent Italian dishes including margarita pizza, cannoli and a showstopping sfogliatelle.

Who was star baker?
Steven Carter-Bailey was named Star Baker for the third time.
"That's a hat trick for Steven. Or should we say… a tripletta. Complimenti! #ItalianWeek #GBBO"

However, viewers seemed less than impressed with the result with many claiming that nineteen-year-old Liam should have brought home the prize.

Who went home?
Yan was sent home after producing an "ugly-atelle" showstopper.
"#GBBO I HAVE WOKEN UP TO A MAJOR INJUSTICE!! YAN SHOULDN'T HAVE GONE HOME THIS WEEK!!!"

Many viewers were disappointed to see Yan go home, especially after Kate failed to impress with her uneven cannoli, unstable Margherita pizza and "sat-on" looking sfogliatelle.
"So Kate's pizza looked like it was done by a 3-year-old but Yan goes?? Nah av had enough #GBBO"

Some fans claimed that Kate won a sympathy vote with the judges after she cut her finger on a fan, meaning she couldn’t toss dough properly.

The Real Showstopper
As always, Noel Fielding won fans over with his foodie fashion. This week it was his shirt that had chins wagging.
