If you missed it, you can watch The Late Late Show YouTube clip below. In the segment TJ Gormley of Cormac Tagging demonstrated an invention that aims to make the ear tagging of lambs less intrusive and more humane.
However the segment has resulted in mixed opinions from viewers with some taking to social media and the airwaves to say that the contraption is cruel to animals while others argue that it will make farming easier for both humans and animals.
Speaking on 2fm’s Breakfast Republic, McCullough who is an experienced farmer said: "To most farming folk out there, what happened on the show looked pretty OK... the farmer in me went, 'that's a pretty good gadget.'"
