With the exciting theme, Fashion is Art, the 2026 Met Gala provided it's start studded guest list with ample opportunity to go all out with their looks, and it seems that Irish design reigned supreme on the iconic steps of the museum.

As well as spotting Irish woman Sinéad Burke attending the gala, a number of Irish designs were put front and centre on the red carpet, with some celebrity guests spotlighting our homegrown talent.

Perhaps one of the most show-stopping looks of the night came from singer Madonna, who wore an elaborate Saint Laurent gown, topped with an incredible pirate ship hat.

The Isabella Blow Shipheadpiece was created by Irish designer Philip Treacy, who was inspired by Leonora Carrington's The Temptation of Saint Anthony.
